To Whom It May Concern:
On October 20, 2005 I met the wonderful man, Dr. Schiffer, and his staff.
My Dr. in Reno, Nevada said the he couldn’t help me out of the pain I
was in and had done all that he could: medication, physical therapy, epidurals,
etc. I had lost mobility, strength, and suffered from numbness in my right
hand 24/7. It was time to take the next step. I had exhausted all of my options
except vertebrae fusion, which I was very reluctant to do.
I am 37 now and at the time the pain began I was 32. It took me a long time
and a lot of research before I made my decision to go to Dr. Schiffer. Plus,
my Dr. in Reno was very supportive of Dr. Schiffer & his procedure.
I traveled from Reno to Fremont, California for the surgery. Dr. Schiffer removed
two disc bulges and two bone-spurs in the neck. I wasn’t sure what to
expect, but I received the best of care, and recovered quickly with little
or no loss of motion in the neck, and NO SCAR. My surgery was a success! My
numbness was gone instantly. I was more mobile within 24 hours and driving
with a neck brace within one week. My mobility and strength returned with time
and physical therapy.
I am very happy with the results of Dr. Schiffer’s work and more than
