In April 1999 1 was injured on the job site. My personal doctor requested an MRI for a better diagnosis.
After almost 90 days back and forth with the Worker's Compensation Carrier, I finally received authorization. The MRI showed three discs were damaged. My doctor referred me to Dr. Stanton Schiffer in Fremont, CA.
Dr. Schiffer and I decided all three levels needed surgery. To be frank, I was concerned because other people I knew who had cervical procedures had so many problems.
Although I still have some effects from the injury, Dr. Schiffer saved my career as a sheet metal worker.
